Racing Facts and History

2001 to present:
Driver/Engine Builder of my own NHRA Stock Eliminator 1971 Ford Super Cobra Jet Mustang. One class Championship, 2001 Pep Boys Nationals race winner, 2005 Medford, Ore. Division race winner and "Best Appearing Crew".

2005 to present:
Crewchief and engine builder of Irv Wise's West Coast Top Sportsman 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. Three time event runner up finishes and #6 in WCTSA pts.

1985 to present:
Engine builder and assistant tuner for Williams Bros. NHRA Super Stock 1964 Mercury Comet. Many time class champion and division winners.

1987-1995:
Driver/Engine builder of my own NHRA Stock Eliminator 1971 Ford Super Cobra Jet Mustang. Seven time class Champion. 1990 Autolite Nationals Champion. 1993 Las Vegas Division Race Winner. 1994 Autolite Nationals runner up.

1976-77 President Campbell High School "Street Machine Club" which included many bracket race wins.

1978-81 Crewchief for Lee Hunters NHRA Pro Stock Mustang and Mercury Zephyr. 1978 Division Champion & top 10 finish. 1981 AHRA Pro Stock World Champion.

1982-83 Crewchief for Dave Smith and Tom Chelbana's AHRA Pro Stock Olds. 1982 AHRA Pro Stock World Champion.

1983-84 Crewchief and engine builder for Steve Steele's NHRA Stock Elliminator Mustang. 1983 Division Champion and #7 in World Points. 1984 "Ford Cup National Championship" winner.

1984-88 Crewchief and engine builder for Yuill Brothers NHRA Pro Stock Ponitac Firebird. Many time top 10 finishes.

1995-2001 Driver and engine builder for Mendes Brothers Racing NHRA Super Stock 1970 Ford Cobra Jet Mustang. Three time class champion. 2001 NHRA 50th Anniversary Nationals Champion. 2000-01 NHRA National Record Holder.
